Race Day Information: Race takes place in beautiful Irvine Park in Chippewa Falls, Wi. Race is held in parallel to the Oktoberfest activities held at the Fair Grounds. Weather is usually sunny and brisk, perfect conditions for racing. All proceeds benefit the McDonell Central High School Cross Country Team. New This year - Microfiber T-Shirts!!

Race Course: The race course is pretty challenging. The entire course will be on trails that consist of grass, dirt, and wood chips. The course starts at the pavillion in the Flag Hill area of Irvine Park. 200 meters later it enters the trails and continues there for the next 2.75 miles. The last 500 meters do a lap around the area where the race starts and finishes beside the pavillion. All the turns are clearly marked with flags, ropes, and/or people pointing you in the right direction. There will be water and Poweraid at the mile.

Registration and Packet Pickup:  Starts at 9:00 a.m. and closes at 10:15 a.m. at the Flag Hill Pavilion.  Late/Race day registration does not guarantee a t-shirt but they will be made available if requested. Entry Fee = Best Value Going!!!   $15 per person in advance (Received by September 12th).  $20 Day of Race.  We will have a $15 Day of Race registration available for those not wanting a shirt.  

Post Race: Award will be given to the top 3 finishers in each age group. Overall male and female recieve $100 gift certificates to Mason Shoe, valid for 1 year. The grill will be fired up and cooking hotdogs, brats, and hamburgers. Condiments and other refreshments will be provided by the various sponsors. Later in the day, there are still Oktoberfest festivities up at the fair grounds.

Directions to Irvine:

                From North Or South: Take CR-S exit, Exit 99, toward Chippewa Falls\Jim Falls. Take a right on to S and follow for a mile. Take a right on CR-Q. Follow for 1.4 miles. Take a left on Squires St. Take a left on Eagle St. Take a right on Rutledge Rd. There will be a parking lot on the left as you enter the park

History: Race was started in the fall of 2004 to provide runners who came to enjoy Oktoberfest a race on Saturday morning.
